Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an experienced Illumio Systems Engineer to design, troubleshoot, and deploy secure network architectures for DoD missions. The role focuses on Illumio Core/Endpoint, Zero Trust, and micro-segmentation within cloud and hybrid IT environments.

Candidates must hold TS/SCI clearance, HS diploma or GED, and be able to obtain DoD 8570.01-M Infrastructure and IAT II certifications within 30 days of start date.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Illumio Core or Illumio Endpoint in a production environment.
• Experience with Zero Trust Architecture and micro segmentation strategies.
• Experience with cloud environments and hybrid IT infrastructures.
• Experience configuring routers, switches, and firewalls with layer 3 and 4 security policies.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, firewalls, routing, and ACLs.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.01-M Cybersecurity Service Provider - Infrastructure Support Certification such as CEH, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND Certification within 30 days of start date.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND Certification within 30 days of start date

The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
