Essential Functions

• Perform unskilled manual labor and simple clerical duties under supervision for up to 6 months.
• Monitor designated areas during the Illinois State Fair (ISF).
• Relieve or cover other stations as instructed.
• Perform related duties as assigned within scope.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge, skills, and mental development equivalent to completing eight years of schooling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with the public and assisting inquiries.
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with management, colleagues, and the public.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.

Conditions of Employment

• Availability to work all 11 days of the State Fair, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to work 8-12 hours per day.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license may be required.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods.
