Job summary

Startech Networks Inc. is seeking an experienced Permit Coordinator to support the Illinois-based Ziply Fiber Program.

The role requires strong knowledge of municipal permitting, jurisdictional coordination, and ROW permitting, acting as the liaison among design teams, local agencies, counties, cities, utilities and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of telecom permitting experience in Illinois with excellent communication and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of telecommunications permitting, utility permitting, construction permitting, or ROW coordination.
• Experience working directly with city, county, or state agencies.
• Knowledge of permitting processes within Illinois.
• Strong understanding of municipal approval procedures.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple permit projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and permit tracking tools.
