Maryland Institute College of Art is seeking a part-time Wellness Coordinator to represent the student voice at MICA Fitness. Responsibilities include implementing health promotion initiatives, working front desk shifts, and managing wellness programs.
Candidates must be current MICA students with a minimum GPA of 3.00 and demonstrate leadership abilities. The role allows for 6-12 hours of work per week with compensation at $15.50 per hour.
The Wellness Coordinator is a part‑time staff member at MICA Fitness. The student will represent the student voice, serving as a conduit between the Fitness Center and the MICA community. This position also requires working one front‑desk shift a week, assisting with the day‑to‑day management of the Fitness Center.
The Wellness Coordinator is expected to work 6‑12 hours per week, depending on availability and scheduling needs. The position is based on the academic year; employment start and end dates coincide with the first day of the Fall semester and the last day of the Spring semester.
The Wellness Coordinator must not be involved in more than 10 hours per week of outside activities, including athletics, clubs, organizations, or additional employment, on or off campus while classes are in session unless approved by the Health Promotions Educator/Fitness Center Manager.
Compensation: $15.50 per hour.
