Job summary

Solerity, Inc. is seeking mid to senior Data Engineers and Data Architects to support a U.S. Federal program in Maryland. The role focuses on designing secure, cloud-based data capabilities in an IL5 environment and delivering mission-focused data solutions.

You will design scalable data architectures, build pipelines, and develop backend services while collaborating with government teams and QA to ensure data quality and security compliance.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance
• Ability to obtain and maintain access required for the program.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data architectures supporting enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines.
• Engineer secure cloud-native data solutions within an IL5 environment.
• Develop backend services and APIs that support modern data platforms.
• Support data science initiatives through preparation, transformation, and validation of datasets.
• Generate synthetic, representative datasets using Government-provided schemas and statistical profiles when production data is unavailable.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to validate data quality, functionality, and system performance.
• Participate in software design, code reviews, testing, and technical documentation.
• Work directly with Government stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver mission-focused solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security requirements, coding standards, and Agile development best practices.
