IL - Registered Nurse - Emergency Room, Days & Nights (12-Hour Shifts), Must have ACLS & PALS Certification; NRP & ATT Desired - Metropolis

Mobile Health Team Inc., a nurse-owned staffing agency, is seeking experienced, compassionate Healthcare Professionals to fill ER positions in Metropolis, IL. We offer PRN, contract, and permanent roles with flexible scheduling and competitive pay.

Position Details

• Location: Metropolis, IL 62960
• Start Date: 5/17/2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour days and nights, 36 hours guaranteed/week

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care from neonate to geriatric.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document appropriately.
• Administer medications and delegate as needed.
• Provide safe and effective nursing care, advocate for patients, and evaluate responses.
• Provide health education and supervise LPNs.
• Care for trauma patients and serve as house supervisor when necessary.
• Communicate with EMS and First Responders using 2-way radios.
• Assess patient acuity and prioritize care.
• Ensure competency through testing and keep licenses and certifications current.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of ER nursing experience.
• Certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS; NRP and ATT preferred.
• Experience with Meditech EMR system preferred.
