A leading healthcare provider in Marion is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to perform laboratory tests and procedures. The role requires an associates degree and registration as a Medical Lab Technician. Successful candidates will ensure accurate and efficient lab processes while operating diagnostic equipment and analyzing results. The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) is responsible for performing laboratory tests and procedures under the supervision of laboratory supervisors or managers. This role involves operating diagnostic equipment, analyzing test results, and ensuring that lab processes are conducted accurately and efficiently.
Associates degree from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program or an associate's degree with at least 60 semester hours from an accredited university, including biology and chemistry, and three years of full-time clinical laboratory experience, or successful completion of an equivalent training program.
One to two years’ experience preferred.
Registration as a Medical Lab Technician, MLT (ASCP), MLT (AMT), HEW, or CLS (NCA) or equivalent required. Registry must be obtained within 12 months of completing school/training or equivalent education documentation per CLIA standards.
Hourly Range - $23.88-$35.82
Eligible for evening/night, weekend shift incentives based on company policies and applicable job codes. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
