Job description

Compensation:

Hourly range: $23.88 - $35.82

Bonus:

Potential for a performance-based bonus, subject to eligibility criteria and achievement of defined metrics. Details regarding bonus eligibility and performance goals will be provided during the interview process or upon hire.

Job Overview:

Performs routine and specialized moderate to high complexity laboratory tests on blood and body fluid specimens with minimal supervision. Ensures accurate, reliable results by adhering to quality control protocols. Conducts instrument checks and preventative maintenance as per department policies. Maintains records and data in compliance with regulatory standards.

Required Certifications/Licenses/Experience:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Medical Laboratory Tech program or 60 semester hours including biology and chemistry from an accredited university, plus three years of full-time experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
  • Registration as a Medical Lab Technician, MLT (ASCP), MLT (AMT), HEW, or CLS (NCA), or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications:

Preferred: Associate’s degree.
