Job description

Job Overview:

A CT Technologist (CT Tech) is responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce detailed cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes. Key duties include preparing and positioning patients, explaining procedures to ensure their comfort, and capturing high-quality images. They must review the images for clarity and completeness, making adjustments as needed. Adhering to strict radiation safety protocols is essential, as is performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment. Accurate documentation of patient information and imaging details is crucial, and CT Technologists collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and support diagnostic decisions.

Education:

  1. ARRT Certification is required, CT registry
  2. Illinois State IEMA Certification required within six months of hire.
  3. Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.

Compensation:

Hourly Range - $27.00-$40.00

Incentives:

Eligible for evening/night, weekend shift incentive based on company policies and applicable job codes. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.

Bonus:
