Louis, MO, with 2-3 cases and 8–12 hours of home visits weekly over 4–6 weeks (IIS) or 8–12 weeks (IFRS). Ideal candidates have a high school diploma with relevant experience or a bachelor’s degree in social work or related field, are 21+, and able to pass

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma with 5 years of relevant experience OR a bachelor's degree in social work or related field.
  • 21+ years of age with background check, physical and drug screening.
  • Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, reliable transportation.
  • Experience with children and family services preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-home services to stabilize families and prevent out-of-home placements.
  • Carry 2-3 cases, conduct 8–10 hour weekly visits for 4–6 weeks (IIS) or 8–12 weeks (IFRS).
  • Available 24/7 for crises or conflicts; connect families to community resources.
  • Work with team and report to IIS IFRS Manager.

Job description

We are seeking a Temporary IIS IFRS Specialist to join our team.Starting Salary: $46,000 (Salary)This is a temporary 12-month position.Your role as an Intensive In-Home Services/Intensive Family Reunification Services Specialist (IIS/IFRS) will work intensively in the family's home to teach them the specific skills they need to safely remain together, such as problem-solving, crisis management, parenting, communication, budgeting, home maintenance, life skills, and more. You will be responsible for connecting families to community resources to help stabilize them and increase their support system. You will work with other team members and report to our Manager IIS IFRS.WHAT YOU WILL DO:This position is based out of St. Louis, Missouri and will cover St. Charles county.Always carries 2-3 cases, seeing each family in the home an average of 8-10 hours per week during the 4–6-week IIS intervention or the 8-12-week IFRS intervention.Available 24/7 to help families with crises or conflicts that might arise.Provide in-home support to stabilize families in crisis, utilize de-escalation skills, prevent child abuse/neglect, prevent out-of-home placements, and facilitate family reunification.Conduct home visits to promote safety, permanency, and well-being as agency policy requires.WHAT YOU WILL BRING:Our ideal candidate will have relevant experience working with children and the following:Must have a high school diploma with 5 years of relevant experience OR a bachelor's degree in social work or other human services related field.At least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screeningA valid driver’s license in the state you reside in, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.WHO WE ARE:Cornerstones of Care is a mental and behavioral health nonprofit certified in trauma-informed care that provides evidence-based prevention, intervention, treatment, and support services to help children and families improve their safety and health by making positive changes in their lives.
