Job summary

Mercury Marine, headquartered in Fond du Lac, WI, seeks a student Co‑op to join the Connected Operations and Analytics team. You will support systems, applications, and analytics development for Mercury Marine Global Operations, partnering with subject matter experts to digitize the manufacturing process and enable IIoT initiatives.

The role provides exposure to SQL, Power BI, Ignition, Python or R, and offers pathways into Systems Engineering, APIs, database administration, and advance

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a BS program with a major in a relevant engineering or CS field with analytics emphasis.
• Minimum second semester sophomore status with 48 credits completed.
• Available to work full-time 40+ hours per week for a full co-op term in 2027.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members across multiple plants to assist with projects and analysis.
• Connect, collect, and analyze data from various equipment and systems.
• Write SQL queries to retrieve data in on-site and cloud databases.
• Create and maintain operational dashboards and data visualizations.
• Develop realtime dashboards using Ignition by Inductive Automation.
• Build historical trends with Power BI for monitoring performance.
• Develop software applications to collect or deliver data to shop-floor personnel.
• Participate in regular management updates across plants.
• Analyze data using scripting languages (R, Python) to inform decisions.
