What You’ll Be Doing

The Install Technician is responsible for correctly and efficiently installing and maintaining the Intoxalock interlock device in customer vehicles. This includes installations, recalibrations, removals, and troubleshooting. Technicians diagnose issues and provide solutions, as well as offer activation instructions and training to customers.

  • Install, calibrate, repair, and remove breath alcohol ignition interlock devices according to state program rules.
  • Provide technical support to customers.
  • Conduct on-site training for customers on device activation and operation.
  • Install devices into customer vehicles.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunction reports.
  • Report any tampering or bypass attempts.
  • Follow all specified procedures, including connecting all state-mandated components.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring To The Table
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Available to work at our Rockingham location 3 days a week and Fayetteville 2 days a week.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with 12-volt systems, schematics, and troubleshooting installations.
  • Experience with stereo, alarm, remote start, or similar systems preferred.
  • High-quality installation experience and intermediate automotive wiring knowledge.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
