Job summary

Pasco Southwest Home Health is seeking an IHSS Attendant to provide compassionate in-home care, assisting with activities of daily living for the client.

You will help with personal care, mobility, observation, and maintain a clean home environment, with flexible schedules and ongoing training. The Pennant Group, Inc. operates as a holding company of independent healthcare subsidiaries.

IHSS Attendant, Care with Heart, Presence, and Purpose. As the IHSS Attendant, you will provide assistance with activities of daily living for the client.

What You'll Do

• Assist with personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, toileting, and linen changes
• Assist with ambulation, positioning, range-of-motion exercises
• Observe patient condition, report changes, and document care accurately
• maintain a clean, comfortable home environment

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Empathy, patience, and ability to work independently
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance
• Ability to understand family interactions and aging process
• Beginning knowledge of nutrition and food service
• ability to communicate effectively, verbal and written

salary range $19.00 - $20.00
