Summary

Clear and reset tables, clean dining areas and tables, wash dishes, pots, utensils, silverware, china, and glassware, ensuring that Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) standards of cleanliness are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with IHOP Team Members and guests.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables; clean chairs, booths, and floors after guests leave.
• Wash all china, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, utensils, etc.
• Follow dish machine and/or sink procedures per IHOP SOP.
• Unload, unbox, rotate, and store food, equipment, and supplies as necessary.
• Stock and rotate supplies in the service areas and dining room.
• Comply with all regulations and IHOP safety, sanitation, and health guidelines.
• Dispose of trash properly.
• Check restrooms hourly for proper stocking and cleanliness.
• Perform cleaning duties according to posted charts.
• Adhere to IHOP uniform and appearance standards.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

No prior experience required. Must be able to read and understand instructions in English and Spanish, and follow safety and sanitation guidelines.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Requires standing, walking, handling objects, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50-100 pounds. Work involves exposure to fumes, chemicals, and varying environmental conditions.
