The individual will be responsible for various duties within the HIS/IHC laboratory, including delivering completed cases to the medical team, assisting with slide preparation (labeling slides, removing/organizing after staining), and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Knowledge/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent.
The lab environment involves exposure to bloodborne pathogens, chemicals such as formaldehyde and xylene, and requires adherence to safety protocols. Moderate standing and lifting of approximately 25 lbs are required.
