Job summary

JoB Training & Coaching invites an experienced Ignition Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced SCADA solutions in a manufacturing setting. You will translate complex operations into scalable Ignition architectures and drive end-to-end delivery from site surveys to production rollout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 1+ year in a similar role (10+ years strongly preferred).
• Hands-on Ignition SCADA architecture and system design experience.
• Ignition Gold Certification is highly preferred.
• Proven experience with PLC integration and multiple industrial protocols.
• Solid understanding of IT/OT convergence and industrial data flows.
• Proficiency in Python scripting within Ignition.
• Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design Ignition SCADA systems with gateways and deployments.
• Conduct site surveys for connectivity and data readiness.
• Define and implement IT/OT integration across PLC platforms.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts within Ignition.
• Design database interfaces, historians, and reporting solutions.
• Build dashboards to visualize KPIs and OEE.
• Lead project execution with distributed engineering teams.
• Provide technical guidance and document continuous improvements.
