Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Lead IT Ignition Full Stack Engineer to drive solution design, delivery, and lifecycle support for enterprise MES/SCADA on the Ignition platform. This role will lead technical delivery across project, release, and run activities with strong emphasis on secure integrations and scalable architecture.

The candidate will work across Ignition Perspective, Vision, and gateway services, collaborating with ERP, quality, maintenance, historians, and shop floor systems in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 12+ years in IT with enterprise manufacturing experience.
• 12+ years experience in Ignition manufacturing solutions.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• No relocation offered; reside within 50 miles of a US Eaton facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design, delivery, and lifecycle support for Ignition MES/SCADA.
• Architect scalable, secure integrations with ERP, QA, maintenance, historians and shop floor systems.
• Develop applications using Ignition Perspective, Vision, gateway services, scripting and integrations.
• Lead project delivery, run support, and release management activities.
• Provide technical oversight for production incidents, performance improvements and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate across OT/IT and manufacturing domains to standardize practices.
• Document code with flowcharts, diagrams, comments, and performance instrumentation.
