Job summary

Coolabah Capital Investments in Miami seeks a highly quantitative trader for the portfolio management team. The role reports to the US/European Head of Trading and requires daily in-office presence in Miami.

The successful candidate will perform idea generation, deep quantitative analysis, and trade execution across OTC cash, derivatives, and listed domains, with strong emphasis on risk management and portfolio reporting.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience in credit markets or fixed income.
• Experience trading IG credit instruments and/or interest rates markets is preferred.
• Strong quantitative modelling skills and problem solving.
• Coding experience in Python or R is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Idea generation for actionable alpha across fixed-income assets.
• Deep quantitative analysis of investment opportunities.
• Trade implementation and execution across OTC cash, derivatives and listed domains.
• Portfolio reporting and risk management.
• Contribute to the broader investment team with insights and analytics.
