Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems seeks an IFS Solution Architect who can lead solution design across complex ERP programs. The role requires deep IFS experience, with the ability to connect business needs to system capabilities and reduce risk while accelerating value.

We are hiring for Principal and Senior levels; candidates will be considered based on qualifications and Total Rewards evaluation. Heavy travel to support on-site training is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 8-10 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Education & Experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Analyzes business needs to develop, design and implement ERP applications.
• Coordinates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements.
• Documents business requirements, functional specs and process maps.
• Analyzes ERP performance and resolves issues to improve security, functionality and reliability.
• Designs, generates and monitors ERP reports for reliability and efficiency.
• Develops user training documents and maintains LMS courses.
• Frequently travels on-site to train employees and support workflows.
• Works on advanced ERP projects requiring deep technical knowledge.
• Governs integrations between IFS and other systems across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Projects.
• Communicates solution options and trade-offs to business and technical stakeholders.
