Geisinger Life Flight is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to operate SPIFR missions from Montoursville, PA. The role includes a $25,000 bonus and a competitive salary with relocation assistance reviewed case by case.

You will be responsible for safe patient conveyance and flight operations as pilot-in-command under Life Flight Communications Center guidance. Position requires FAA Commercial Helicopter Pilot with Instrument rating, 2000 total hours or 1500 hours with ATP, and SPIFR proficiency.

Competenze

• Must hold FAA Commercial Pilot license with Instrument rating.
• Interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Mansioni

• Plan flight assignments and obtain briefing information regarding purpose of the flight, weather, operating procedures and special instructions.
• Conduct start-of-shift briefing with the medical, communications and ground personnel.
• Ensure aircraft is prepared pre-flight per the GOM; loaded, fueled, and staffed for flight.
• Monitor weight and balance and ensure cargo is secured within limits.
• File, activate and close flight plans; maintain flight logs and maintenance records.
• Maintain SPIFR proficiency and communicate with Life Flight Center as needed.
