Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an iFlex Registered Nurse to support multiple sites in the network, with floating to different units as needed. The role emphasizes high-quality, patient-centered care across cardiac, orthopedics, neuro, and maternity services.

You will work varied shifts on a 3-month assignment, traveling to facilities in Intermountain’s regions. Requirements include 2 years ICU/Med-Surg experience, an active RN license in the practice state, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent ICU or Med/Surg experience.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, psychological, and social status of patients and plan care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to direct and coordinate care.
• Develop individualized care plans based on assessment data and clinical judgment.
• Provide or delegate patient care in accordance with care plans and licensure.
• Prepare patients for discharge including education, referrals, and follow-up care.
• Evaluate patient responses and adapt interventions as needed.
• Maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards and document care accurately.
