IFC Buyer I (Finance)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Buyer I responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services. The role involves researching vendors, ensuring timely delivery, maintaining inventory levels, and negotiating the best prices for our products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop procurement, storage, and distribution strategies.
  • Collaborate with departments to forecast demand and plan inventory.
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excess.
  • Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring policy compliance.
  • Identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • Resolve vendor issues related to quality or billing and ensure prompt payments.
  • Complete feedback and non-conformance documentation.
  • Identify ITAR/EAR projects and customers.
  • Track Federal Register notices and communicate updates.
  • Prioritize and expedite material delivery; maintain supplier relationships; manage ERP item data.
  • Implement inventory reduction projects.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Education and Experience:

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years in manufacturing, operations, or materials management.
  • Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
