Qualifications

• Active Special Education teaching certification for grades 5-12, with moderate disabilities endorsement.
• Experience working with middle and/or high school students.
• Strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and direct service delivery.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct special education services to middle or high school students, helping each student achieve their fullest potential.
• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive and positive learning environment.
• Monitor and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
• Attend and actively participate in team meetings, reviews, and planning sessions.
