Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking a Community Support Staff/Tutor to serve students in Montgomery County and Prince George's County. The role focuses on academic, vocational, social skills, and transition experiences according to IEP goals and county curricula.

Under a certified teacher's supervision, you will plan lessons, assist teachers, and coordinate transportation while maintaining records and communicating with families and agencies. Immediate start and weekly payments offered.

Qualifications

• Under supervision of a certified teacher, plan and implement lessons and activities to meet IEP goals.
• Provide instructional assistance to teachers.
• Coordinate transportation and liaise with families and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement lessons aligned with IEP goals.
• Support employment and career development including vocational assessment and internships.
• Maintain records of academic and behavioral progress regularly.
• Communicate with parents, employers and service providers.
• Provide crisis management in collaboration with therapists when needed.
