Job summary

64 Audio is seeking a motivated Full-Time, Regular Lab Technician 1 to join our production team in Vancouver, WA. The role involves assembling IEMs and conducting regular quality control on completed units, following detailed instructions to meet production goals and ensuring issues are addressed before shipping.

The position runs about 40 hours per week with a shift between 7am and 3:30pm. Prior electronics assembly experience is preferred, with training provided to new hires to ensure success

Qualifications

  • Must be located within driving distance of Vancouver, WA
  • Experience in electronics assembly or related industry preferred
  • Able to read and follow detailed instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Proficient with small hand tools such as buffing lathes, soldering irons, and small blades

Responsibilities

  • Assemble Apex modules
  • Apply UV curable acrylic into engraved serials
  • Visually inspect shells for contamination
  • Print case labels using UV Printer and Laser Engraver
  • Apply tubes and filters to speakers/drivers
  • Test and sort drivers/speakers
  • Solder crossover components and driver sets
  • Run SLA acrylic 3D printers
  • Manufacture standard faceplates
  • Assemble universal earphones
  • Prepare shells and earplugs for lacquer step
  • Polish and sandblast shells and faceplates
  • Count materials for inventory
