Illinois Department of Veterans’ Affairs seeks a Central Office Payroll & Timekeeping Manager to lead statewide payroll, timekeeping and back wage claims programs. Under the Human Resources Director, you will certify payroll, monitor transactions and ensure compliance with laws and CBAs across the agency.
You will develop procedures, provide guidance to agency staff, and supervise a full-time team, coordinating cross-functional initiatives and training to strengthen IDVA’s payroll operations

The position is responsible for developing and implementing procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, policies, Collective Bargaining Agreements and Memorandums of Understanding, certifying payroll, monitoring claims and payroll-related transactions, and providing guidance on complex payroll and timekeeping matters across the agency.
