Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking an IDS Pharmacist to support the safe and compliant management of investigational medications across our health system. You will partner with investigators, research teams, nurses, and sponsors to ensure trials are executed with high quality and patient safety.

The role involves protocol feasibility, study start-up, dispensing, monitoring visits, and ongoing study support across multiple IU Health sites, with day shifts and potential travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 or PGY2 residency may be required.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience required.
• Current Indiana Pharmacist license or eligibility for Indiana licensure.
• Board certification or other specialized training may be required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.
• Travel to IU Health facilities may be required.
• Weekend rotations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Protocol review and budget development.
• EHR and order set build for investigational products.
• Investigational product management and regulatory compliance.
• Study start-up activities and clinical resource for research teams.
• Drive standardization and process improvements across a multi-site program.
