Our client is a pharmaceutical company. They are looking for an IDP Resource Specialist – SB2, SAP, and GCP Integration to join their team. This role is a CONTRACT position. Position will be REMOTE. Candidate must be residing within the United States of America to be considered.

**Seeking experience in cloud engineering, identity management, or SAP integration, with a focus on GCP and SAP environments**

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled professional to serve as an IDP (Identity Provider) Resource Specialist, focusing on the integration and management of SB2 and SAP environments within Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure identity and access management solutions that bridge SAP (including SB2 modules) and GCP, leveraging best practices in cloud security and federation.

Position Duties:

• Design, implement, and manage identity provider (IdP) integrations between SAP (including SB2) and GCP, ensuring seamless authentication and authorization flows.
• Collaborate with SAP and GCP architects to support deployment, integration, and migration projects involving SB2, SAP SuccessFactors, and related modules.
• Configure and maintain SAP Cloud Platform Identity Authentication Service (IAS) as a central authentication hub, enabling Single Sign-On (SSO) and secure user management for SAP and third-party applications.
• Install and configure the Data Services (DS) agent on new virtual machines (VMs) and existing servers, ensuring proper connectivity and functionality.
• Automate and streamline identity and access management processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Utilize infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) to automate tasks.
• Develop and enforce attribute-based access controls and workload identity federation policies in GCP to restrict and manage access to cloud resources.
• Implement and monitor secure data flows and user provisioning between SAP systems and GCP, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support for troubleshooting identity-related issues across SAP and GCP environments.
• Address challenges related to the DS agent engagement with backend systems, including managing updates and configurations.
• Manage and update certificates for secure connections, including troubleshooting issues related to certificate authorities and SAP web dispatchers.
• Stay current with best practices and updates in SAP, SB2, GCP, and identity management technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, identity management, or SAP integration, with a focus on GCP and SAP environments.
• Strong understanding of SAP Identity Authentication Service, SAP SuccessFactors, and SB2 module integration.
• Experience with GCP identity and access management, including workload identity federation and service account impersonation.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible) and scripting (Python, Shell).
• Familiarity with cloud security, networking, and compliance best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect).
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Business Suite, and hybrid/cloud deployment models.
• Knowledge of cross-system workflow and hybrid identity architectures involving SAP and GCP.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments.
