Everforth ECS is seeking an Identity Security Engineer to join our security operations division in Washington, DC or remote. This security-engineering role focuses on designing, hardening, and evolving identity systems and Windows server infrastructure to protect the organization.

You will lead initiatives for identity-based risk reduction, integrate signals into security operations, and ensure high standards for authentication, access control, and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in identity security and Windows server administration.

Responsibilities

• Design, harden, and evolve identity systems.
• Monitor identity health and investigate identity-based threats.
• Integrate identity signals into security operations and log centralization.
• Secure workload identities, service principals, and high-risk admin accounts.
• Decommission legacy federation infrastructure and migrate to modern authentication.
• Collaborate across cybersecurity, networking, and systems teams.
