Job Description

Role: Identity Proofing Project Manager

Location: Primarily onsite in St. Paul, MN, Some remote work arrangements may be considered and are subject to negotiation and approval. The travel expectation is 0-25%.

Duration: 1 year

Rate: $40.93/hour W2

Obligations

The Identity Proofing Project Manager will be responsible for:

• Provide project management services for the Identity Proofing Project.
• Coordinate the implementation of technology solutions.
• Coordinate communications and implementation tasks between 3rd party vendor, project participants, in-house development staff and a wide variety of business and technical stakeholders at 33 colleges and Universities.
• Coordinate governance meetings.
• This individual will need cross-functional stakeholder diplomacy. They will manage conflicting requirements between the Financial Aid Office (focused on preventing "ghost student" fraud), the Admissions Office (focused on reducing user friction), and Security (focused on data privacy).

Required Skills

Candidates submitted by respondents must have the following skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with a broad range of technical and business stakeholders at various organizational levels.
• Minimum of Five (5) years of experience managing complex IT projects.
• Experience managing vendors, project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and risks.
• Experience coordinating technical integrations, system testing, and implementation activities.

Desired Skills

The following skills are desired for candidates submitted by respondents:

• Three (3) years of experience working in a government and/or public higher education environment specifically as a project manager.
• Demonstrated experience with the implementation of large-scale enterprise IT systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with a broad range of technical and business stakeholders at various organizational levels.
• Experience with identity proofing, identity verification, IAM, cybersecurity, or related technology initiatives is preferred. Experience supporting business requirements development, vendor
• evaluations, or RFP processes.
• Experience with High-Volume Change Management & Institutional Alignment.
