Job summary

Palantir Technologies is seeking an Platform Engineer for the Identity Platform team to design, build, and operate secure-by-design identity infrastructure and tooling. You will advance identity governance, access management, and threat-resilient token issuance across Palantirians and customers worldwide.

You’ll contribute to the next-generation identity platform, focusing on principals like workloads and AI agents, and help shape design-to-production for scalable, low-risk identity services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, software engineering, or equivalent with strong security focus.
• Experience deploying and operating containerized services (EKS, ECS, or similar) in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience building and operating production services or APIs, not just automation scripts.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or TypeScript.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation).
• Active TS/SCI security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation and tooling for corporate and customer-facing identity platforms.
• Build, secure, and manage geo-redundant containerized services in AWS and Azure.
• Scale SSO integrations across Entra ID tenants using IaC frameworks.
• Build tooling to standardize and scale workflows across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Extend identity platform to non-human identities with short-lived credentials.
• Design governance layers and policy engines for entitlement and authorization.
