Job summary

Disney is seeking an experienced engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable identity experiences, including login, registration, account management, and profile flows across Disney’s web platforms.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate business and user requirements into scalable technical solutions, lead the development of complex features, and mentor teammates to uphold engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IS/Software/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
• Foundational web programming knowledge.
• Experience with modern JavaScript workflows.
• Experience shipping production React/Node.js applications.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) is preferred.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies and accessibility basics.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable identity experiences across Disney’s web platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements.
• Lead development of complex features spanning multiple systems and teams.
• Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Mentor teammates and drive engineering best practices.
• Improve software tooling, architecture, and processes for quality and speed.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions to support scale and security.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive identity solutions.
• Support software through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
