Job summary

AgentSync in Denver is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to own identity, endpoint, and SaaS infrastructure, replacing manual work with automation and building durable access foundations. You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Security, and the business to set benchmarks for IT health and deliver scalable solutions.

You’ll design and scale the macOS endpoint program (Jamf) and automate onboarding/offboarding while defining KPIs for IT operations and ensuring audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT Operations or IT Engineering in a startup or high-growth setting.
• Experience administering identity providers (Okta) at scale with SSO/SAML/OIDC.
• MDM experience with macOS (Jamf) and strong Cloud IAM knowledge.
• Proficient in Linux fundamentals and networking concepts.
• Scripting/automation mindset (Python, Bash) and tooling experience.
• Familiar with SOC 2 controls and IT audit support.
• Proven track record leading projects and mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Own and mature our identity provider (Okta) including provisioning and RBAC.
• Scale IAM foundations and automated joiner/mover/leaver workflows.
• Design and manage macOS endpoint program with Jamf and MDM roadmap.
• Automate IT workflows to make onboarding/offboarding repeatable.
• Define KPIs for IT Operations and drive investment decisions.
• Lead projects end-to-end with cross-team collaboration.
• Support SOC 2 evidence gathering and audit readiness.
• Troubleshoot identity, networking, endpoints, and SaaS apps.
• Mentor teammates and promote IT/engineering best practices.
• Bridge IT with Engineering, Security and business teams.
