Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Identity Compliance Business Analyst to mature Identity Governance, Access Management, and Privileged Access Management programs. You will work with IAM, Security, Risk, Audit, and Compliance to translate regulatory requirements into actionable governance actions.

The role involves gap analyses, roadmaps, and KPI development to strengthen identity governance and reduce compliance risk across our CIS practice.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Business Analysis, IAM Governance, Compliance, IGA or Cybersecurity Governance roles.
• Experience with identity governance concepts across IAM, IGA and PAM.
• Familiarity with major frameworks and regulatory standards.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical controls.

Responsibilities

• Assess identity governance maturity across IAM, IGA, and PAM domains.
• Document current-state and identify gaps in identity lifecycle management and access controls.
• Elicit and validate business and compliance requirements for identity governance programs.
• Develop roadmaps and maturity models to meet regulatory and audit needs.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and assessment sessions with IAM, Security, Risk, and business teams.
• Define policies, controls, and compliance requirements for identity governance.
• Create KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and reporting for identity compliance posture.
• Support audit readiness, evidence gathering, and remediation tracking.
• Analyze risk exposures related to access management and privilege controls.
• Prepare executive assessments and recommendations to improve maturity.
