Job summary

Red River Computer Co. in Chantilly/Remote options seeks an Identity & Application Infrastructure Engineer to oversee identity, access, authentication, and governance across cloud and on-prem environments.

You will administer Entra ID, AD, and Microsoft 365, and craft automation with PowerShell and Power Automate to improve security and reliability. You will collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, HR, and Operations teams, serve as Tier III escalation, and help modernize applications while

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
5+ years of progressive experience administering enterprise identity, application, infrastructure, or cloud platforms.
Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and hybrid identity environments.
Experience administering Microsoft 365 technologies.
Experience with authentication technologies, including SSO, MFA, identity governance, and access management.
Experience supporting SQL Server administration, database integrations, or application infrastructure platforms.
Experience developing automation solutions through PowerShell, Power Automate, or equivalent technologies.
Experience supporting security, compliance, governance, and audit-related initiatives.
Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Administer identity, access management, authentication, and governance platforms.
Manage user lifecycle automation, provisioning, deprovisioning, and access controls.
Administer Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and related services.
Support administration, integration, lifecycle management, and operational reliability of enterprise business applications and related infrastructure.
Administer privileged access and credential management solutions.
Develop automation solutions using PowerShell, Power Automate, and related technologies.
Support compliance, security, audit, and governance requirements.
Serve as a Tier III escalation resource and participate in infrastructure and application modernization initiatives.
Maintain system documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, HR, and Business Operations teams to improve efficiency and reliability.
