[IAM Engineer | Senior]

About the role:

• We are looking for a Senior Saviynt / IAM Engineer to support and enhance Saviynt IGA, focusing on platform administration, troubleshooting, application onboarding, and identity lifecycle automation.

  You will work with Saviynt workflows, roles, SoD, connectors, REST/SOAP integrations, JML processes, and access governance, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to improve security and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Saviynt Platform Administration & Support

• Act as the primary SME for troubleshooting Saviynt IGA issues, platform stability, job failures, connection errors, and configuration defects.

• Perform root‑cause analysis and ensure timely resolution of production incidents.

• Maintain and optimize Saviynt objects (SoD, workflows, roles, rules, analytics, controls, task definitions, connections).

Application Onboarding & Enhancements

• Lead onboarding of new target systems using connectors or custom integration patterns (REST, JDBC, SCIM, SOAP).

• Review and update access request forms, entitlements, provisioning rules, attribute mappings, and access patterns.

• Mature existing integrations to improve reliability and reduce manual steps.

Governance & Process Improvement

• Enhance identity lifecycle processes (Joiner–Mover–Leaver), birthright provisioning, and policy‑driven automation.

• Improve certification campaigns, risk controls, SoD ruleset, and access governance reporting.

• Participate in roadmap planning, platform upgrades, and feature enablement (EIC modules).

Technical Leadership

• Provide guidance on Saviynt best practices, performance tuning, and design patterns.

• Work with IAM architects to evolve the operating model, support model, and long‑term maturity plan for Saviynt.

• Collaborate with compliance, audit, and security teams to implement governance controls.

DevOps & CI/CD Alignment (Nice to Have)

• Support DevOps‑based migration of Saviynt objects (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) using Saviynt MCC or REST APIs.

Assist in test‑cycle support (SIT, UAT, regression), automation scripts, and configuration versioning.

Qualifications:

• 4–7 years hands‑on experience with Saviynt IGA (EIC preferred; SSM beneficial);

• 8–12+ years overall Identity & Access Management experience.

Proven experience and expertise in:

• Saviynt workflows, rules engine, tasks, analytics, roles, SoD;

• Application onboarding using OOTB and custom connectors;

• Identity lifecycle automation (JML);

• Certification campaign configurations;

• RBAC/ABAC design and role mining concepts;

• Troubleshooting provisioning, connectors, and adoption issues;

• REST/SOAP API integration patterns;

• SQL, JSON, Groovy scripting for Saviynt logic;

• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP, Unix, databases;

• Experience in cloud platforms (Azure and AWS) as target systems for integration;

• Understanding of identity stores, schema mapping, SSO/OAuth/SAML basics;

• Experience in Agile delivery, ITIL processes, and production support DevOps models;

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills;

• Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders;

• Independent ownership mindset with proactive improvement attitude;

• Experience working directly with customers in support + enhancement roles;

Nice to Have:

• Saviynt Professional Certification (EIC);

• Saviynt Advanced Configuration or Engineer Certification (if available);

• Certifications in IAM & Security;

• CIAM/IAM certifications (CISM, CISSP, CCSP, Security+);

• Azure/AWS cloud certifications (AZ-900, AZ-104, AWS Cloud Practitioner);

• ITIL Foundation Certification
