Job summary

Simeio is seeking a Lead Identity Engineer focused on Saviynt IGA to drive enterprise identity governance initiatives. You will design, implement, and support scalable identity solutions and integrate with applications, AD, cloud platforms, HR systems, and other repositories.

You will lead complex IAM programs, mentor engineers, and promote best practices while collaborating with security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to ensure compliant, automated identity lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on IAM/IGA experience implementing and supporting IAM/IGA solutions.
• Strong hands-on Saviynt Identity Governance and Administration platform experience.
• Experience configuring Saviynt EIC modules, workflows, connectors, and access governance capabilities.

About the Role:

The Lead Identity Engineer - Saviynt IGA is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions with a primary focus on Saviynt. This role involves leading complex identity initiatives, developing scalable governance solutions, and integrating identity platforms with enterprise applications and infrastructure. The engineer will work closely with business stakeholders, security teams, and technical teams to deliver secure, compliant, and automated identity lifecycle management capabilities while driving best practices and mentoring team members.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the implementation, configuration, and support of Saviynt Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions.
• Design and implement identity lifecycle management processes, including joiner, mover, and leaver workflows.
• Develop and manage access request, approval, certification, and provisioning workflows.
• Configure and support Saviynt modules including Identity Repository, Access Requests, Lifecycle Management, Certifications, and Application Onboarding.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and document identity and access management solutions.
• Build and maintain integrations using SCIM, REST APIs, Java, JavaScript, XML, and SQL.
• Design and integrate IAM solutions with enterprise applications, Active Directory, cloud platforms, HR systems, and other identity repositories.
• Develop and support automated provisioning and deprovisioning processes across connected systems.
• Review and analyze complex technical solutions and recommend improvements aligned with business and security objectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Saviynt workflows, connectors, provisioning processes, and integrations.
• Collaborate with application teams, security teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to deliver identity governance initiatives.
• Drive technical excellence by developing standards, engineering best practices, and reusable implementation frameworks.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and change activities using enterprise ticketing and ITSM platforms while adhering to defined SLAs.
• Participate in Agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior engineers and consultants and provide technical leadership across projects.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Evaluate new technologies, processes, and capabilities that enhance identity governance and operational efficiency.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with Saviynt Identity Governance and Administration platform.
• Experience configuring and supporting Saviynt EIC modules, workflows, connectors, and access governance capabilities.
• Strong experience with Java, JavaScript, XML, and SQL.
• Experience developing and supporting SCIM and REST-based integrations.
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including identity lifecycle management, role-based access control (RBAC), provisioning, deprovisioning, authentication, authorization, and access governance.
• Experience integrating IAM solutions with enterprise infrastructure and business applications.
• Knowledge of information security principles, access governance controls, and compliance requirements.
• Experience working with LDAP, Active Directory, and identity repositories.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in Agile development and delivery environments.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with additional IAM or IGA platforms.
• Experience working within Banking or Financial Services environments.
• Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and related identity standards.
• Experience with Linux, WebLogic, Tomcat, Oracle, SQL Server, and enterprise middleware technologies.
• Experience using Jira, ServiceNow, or similar project management and ITSM tools.
• Exposure to cloud identity and access management solutions.
• Relevant certifications in IAM, IGA, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, or information security.
