Under the supervision of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) Manager and working collaboratively with the Identity and Access Management team as well as other members of the technical services teams, the IT Identity & Access Management Analyst I will assist with the development, implementation, and daily support of IAM practices, programs, and procedures. Active participant in initiatives designed to ensure team members' identities are secured through integrated identity management systems and procedures within the organization's suite of applications and technologies. Provides production support and troubleshooting as part of the organization's incident management process.

This position is primarily remote with the exception of some necessary onsite requirements such as a DTS meeting or troubleshooting event/incident. The office is located in Edison, NJ.

Responsibilities

A day in the life of a Identity and Access Management Analyst Iat Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

  • Champion HMH's strategic roadmap for IAM.
  • Ensure that system access is maintained in accordance with company policy.
  • Support all access management control activities across all infrastructure systems. This includes, but is not limited to user access provisioning, de-provisioning, and access modifications in various systems and applications.
  • Ensure access to systems is provisioned with the concept of least privilege.
  • Evaluate existing access to ensure access levels remain commensurate with job responsibilities.
  • Ticket management for ticket creation/tracking/monitoring of onboarding, termination, job change, suspension and reinstatement of employees and contractors.
  • Processing of special access account requests.
  • Escalate and resolve priority requests and issues as needed.
  • Broad understanding of how to integrate with business applications for the purpose of providing single sign-on and multifactor authentication.
  • Research, recommend and implement changes to standards and procedures to enhance identity management.
  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
  • Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other Healthcare related field or equivalent degree, and/or applicable technical certificate and/or equivalent related experience.
  • Basic understanding of Identity & Access Management user lifecycle processes and experience with an Identity & Access Management/Access Governance solution (i.e., SailPoint).
  • Basic understanding of IAM concepts such as directory services, SSO, federation, MFA, provisioning, access certification, roles, and separation of duties.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills including conflict resolution.
  • Advanced critical thinking, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficient skills in GSuite products.
  • Advanced documentation skills.
  • Ability to travel to other HMH locations as needed.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

  • Strong understanding of KPIs, KRIs, and metric reporting.
  • Operational experience with SailPoint and other IAM systems and tools.
  • Familiarity with enterprise directories (Active Directory, LDAP, etc.).

Licenses and Certifications Preferred:

  • Certification with IAM products including SailPoint, CyberArk, Duo, etc.
