We are looking for a skilled and collaborative Identity and Access Management Administrator II, to contribute to the accurate and timely completion of security access requests from a diverse statewide customer base.
In this role, you will collaborate with a variety of functional teams both within OIT, as well as outside agencies to protect identity management for our entire state network. This will include granting remote access, managing unique identities, and establishing security and access for employees, vendors, contractors, and external stakeholders.
Some of the important duties you will perform:
Manage user and system access to resources through account provisioning and de-provisioning.
Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to troubleshoot issues and resolve access problems.
Create and set up IT infrastructure through ticket management.
Research issues that arise with identity and access.
At least three (3) years of experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position, that includes experience as an Identity and Access Management professional.
Additional appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis, but cannot completely substitute for these qualifications.
Training or Certification related to the work assigned to the position will be assigned credit towards substitution for experience and/or education, but cannot completely substitute for these qualifications.
If the minimum qualifications include a degree requirement, additional appropriate paid or unpaid experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years experience in IAM.
2+ years experience working with Active Directory.
2+ years experience working with ticketing software.
OIT employees must comply with any screening procedures in place at state entity locations where they might be required to perform work.
A pre-employment background check will be conducted as part of the selection process.
Positions supporting some agencies such as the Department of Corrections and the Department of Public Safety will also require a pre-employment drug test.
This position may require travel within the specified geographic area, and to locations across the state as needed.
