POSITION: TEACHER ASSISTANT - SPECIAL EDUCATION

COMMENCING DATE: IMMEDIATELY

QUALIFICATIONS

• Hold an Associate Degree or higher or;
• Two Years or 48 College Credit Hours (Transcripts Verification Required) or;
• High School Diploma/GED and the ACT WorkKeys Silver Level Certification requirements - Applied Mathematics, score of 4, Graphic Literacy, score of 4 and Workplace Documents, score of 4.
• Interpersonal skills in working with students, professional colleagues, administration, parents, and community
• Strong written and oral communication skills: grammar, spelling, punctuation
• Good physical condition with ability to lift 50 pounds

SALARY

Commensurate with the Ocean Springs salary schedule for classified positions for the 2026-2027 school year.
