Job summary

Connections in Ohio, Inc. is seeking an energetic Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Team Leader to oversee the training, staffing and operation of one to two sites, building a team of direct support professionals to provide exceptional services.

This full-time role requires nights and weekends and includes a wage of $22.50 per hour, with a Team Leader in Training at $21.50 per hour. The position includes generous paid leave, paid health benefits and a 401k with matching.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age.
• A working vehicle for transportation during the course of work.
• Valid Ohio driver0s license with 4 points or less on your BMV record.
• Ability to pass background checks per industry requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a team of direct support professionals.
• Provide 24/7 on-call coverage for 1 homes with an every-other-weekend on-call rotation.
• Oversee staffing, payroll, and financial management for each home.
• Provide direct support to the individuals served.
• Train staff on individual support plans and ensure adherence to plans.
• Oversee employee training, staffing, and certifications.
• Address policy, procedure, and disciplinary questions; ensure timely performance evaluations.
