Job summary

Dungarvin in Indiana seeks a Senior Director of IDD Services to lead a team of up to six direct reports and oversee the administration and growth of services in their area. You will build partnerships with local, state, and federal representatives, advocacy groups, and stakeholders to advance program outcomes.

The role requires strategic program development, strong financial oversight, and a commitment to regulatory compliance across DD/IDD services, with opportunities to influence service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services; master's preferred.
• 7-8 years in human services with 5+ years in senior management.
• Experience with Supported Living, Waivered Sites, Residential Group Homes or Day Programs.
• Budget management >$10M and P&L accountability.
• Prefer Indiana state systems and Medicaid Waivers experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic program and fiscal planning to drive growth.
• Oversee development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of programs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and licensing requirements.
• Monitor quality and performance, oversee budgets and financials.

Job Description

What You Get To Do:

TheIDD ServicesSenior Directoris responsible for providing leadership and guidance to a team of up to six direct reports inIndiana. This role is responsible for the overall administration and growth of the Dungarvin business and services within their prospective area. TheSenior Directoris responsible for nurturing and developing relationships with potential and existing business partners including local, state, and federal legislative and department representatives, advocacy groups, trade associations, and other stakeholders as warranted.

Duties include:

• Develop and implement strategic program and fiscal planning initiatives to drive business growth and operational excellence
• Oversee the development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of programs and services
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local business and program regulations, laws, and licensing requirements specific to DD/IDD services
• Assure quality of services meet or exceed regulatory and licensing standards through ongoing monitoring and quality assurance activities
• Identify, pursue, and manage expansion of markets and new business opportunities within the service area
• Hire, coach, mentor, train, and supervise direct reports while fostering a culture of professional development and accountability to entire team
• Oversee budget development, allocation, and financial performance management while maintaining personal accountability for P&L outcomes
• Conduct performance evaluations, implement professional development plans, and support staff retention
• Represent the organization at community events, legislative meetings, industry forums, and stakeholder engagement activities
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators, service metrics, and compliance measures to senior leadership

Qualifications

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Bachelor's degree in human services field (Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Educational Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, etc.). Preference to master’s degree.
• Minimum of 7-8 years human services industry experience, specific to Developmentally Disabled/Intellectual Disabilitiespopulations. Combined with5 years of progressive senior level management experience.
• Experience with Supportive Living, Waivered Sites,Residential Group Homes, and/or Day Programs
• Must have financial management skills and budget experience in excess of 10 million dollars as well as be personally accountable for the P&L
• Prefer previous experience with the state ofIndiana systems and Medicaid Waivers.
