Position Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., special education, rehabilitation, social work) with two years of experience working with persons with disabilities and/or mental health work, or equivalent experience/substitutions as detailed.

Overview:

Responsible for supervising professional staff and/or performing complex work related to intellectual and developmental disabilities programs. Tasks include providing technical assistance, monitoring compliance, gathering and disseminating information, and program administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interviewing persons served, families, clinicians, and staff to assess needs and services.
  • Monitoring services for compliance and quality assurance.
  • Reviewing documentation and data for accuracy and compliance.
  • Developing objectives, strategies, and reports to improve service delivery.
  • Scheduling and organizing meetings, training, and reviews.
  • Maintaining communication with stakeholders and team members.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Decision-making, problem-solving, organizational skills, and knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and best practices in disability services.
