Job summary

Legacy Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our Lowndes team in South Georgia. This role supports individuals with developmental disabilities in a 24/7 community residential program, delivering skills training and assisting with transportation and daily living tasks.

Under supervision, you will document progress, maintain CARF-compliant standards, and work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED is required.
• Valid GA driver’s license with less than 5 points.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and support services to people with developmental disabilities in a 24/7 community residential program.
• Deliver skills training in daily living and community integration as outlined by the Individual Service Plan.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary home environment to meet CARF safety regulations.
• Assist in coordinating transportation for persons served.
• Monitor and document progress in treatment.

Legacy Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Direct Support Professionalto join our Lowndes team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting individuals and families throughout South Georgia with compassionate, high-quality behavioral health services.

Under supervision Direct Support Professionals will provide training and support services to people with developmental disabilities in a 24/7 community residential program. Responsibilities include delivering skills training in daily living and community integration as outlined by the Individual Service Plan, maintaining a clean and sanitary home environment to meet CARF safety regulations, and assisting in coordinating transportation for persons served. Teamwork with fellow staff members is essential to ensure the highest quality of IDD services. Proficiency in computer skills is required. Additionally, the position requires monitoring and documenting persons served progress in treatment. Flexibility to work varying hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

The Direct Support Professional will be supervised by the Site Manager.

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED; required

Physical Demands
