Job summary

Life Help is seeking staff to support individuals in IDD programs, assisting with personal care, meals, transportation, and community outings to promote independence. You will work under supervision to implement day-to-day activities and help enhance abilities.

Role requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid Class D Mississippi driver’s license; benefits include health and dental insurance, retirement plans, and leave accruals. Flexible scheduling may be available.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Must hold a valid Class D Mississippi Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisors in implementing and coordinating the day to day activities of individuals in the IDD programs.
• Work directly with individuals in the Program to increase their abilities and independence.
• Assist with personal care needs of the individuals.
• Assist with meals and snacks.
• Assist with transportation needs of the individuals.
• Assist with community outing/Job explorations.
