Sound Behavioral Health seeks an IDD clinician to work in Kent, WA, serving clients with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental illness. The role emphasizes direct services, case management, and coordination with cross-system partners to promote independence in the community.

The position requires a WA Driver's license, ability to travel in South King County, and a Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field with at least two years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a counseling-related field required.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience as a clinician or case manager, or residential provider, preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of King County mental health resources and local health delivery systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct services and/or referrals for clients.
• Develops treatment plans and maintains clinical records.
• Prepares reports and progress notes for clinical records.
• Performs consultations with other agencies on behalf of clients.
• Supports clients to stay stable in the community and reduce hospitalizations.
• Monitors medication regimes and treatment compliance.
• Ensures program coordination and team collaboration.
• Participates in team meetings, case presentations, and trainings.
• Coordinates support meetings and crisis plans for enrolled clients.
