Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking an Integration Systems Engineer to install, configure, and test operating systems and applications for customer orders.

You will collaborate with IT and security to set up VPNs and infrastructure, monitor performance, and automate processes with custom scripts. You will maintain customer-owned equipment in a secure environment while contributing to design of information and operational support systems and coordinating with customers, vendors and IT personnel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, trade school, or relevant work experience required.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Summary

The IDCS Systems Engineer is responsible for installing, configuring, and testing operating systems and application software for customer orders while collaborating with IT and security departments to set up infrastructure and VPNs. This role involves developing custom scripts to automate processes, supporting large-scale deployment networks, and ensuring effective communication throughout project lifecycles. The Integration Systems Engineer must demonstrate strong problem-solving, technical troubleshooting, and communication skills to enhance system efficiency and address application performance issues.

Role Description

• The ability to effectively utilize applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to enhance productivity and perform various tasks efficiently. - Intermediate

• Ability to simplify and effectively communicate complex problems to stakeholders across various functions and levels. - Intermediate

• Expertise in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting BIOS firmware and device drivers to ensure system functionality and performance. - Intermediate

• Understanding of deploying and managing mobile devices to ensure seamless operation and integration within an organization preferred - Intermediate

• Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux-based operating systems preferred - Intermediate

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $140,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
