Job summary

Johnson Service Group, Inc. is seeking an ID/OD Grinder II for a 3rd shift, onsite in Downers Grove, IL. The role offers a pay rate of $25–$30 per hour DOE with an additional $2 shift differential and weekend OT opportunities.

Strong preference for AS9100/Lean background and aerospace experience. The candidate will set up and operate Studer ID/OD grinders, perform first article and in-process inspections, and contribute to process improvements to reduce variation and ensure first article

Qualifications

• 3+ years of grinding experience on ID/OD, face and centerless grinding.
• Experience with Studer machines and first article inspection.
• Ability to perform in-process quality inspections and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Set up grinding operations with supervision and achieve first article acceptance.
• Perform in-process quality inspections and record results.
• Identify process improvements to reduce part quality variation.
