Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a Critical Care Veterinary Technician to join our ICU team. The role is full-time, Monday-Thursday 8am-6pm with some on-call expectations, and involves triage, advanced catheter placements, ventilator care, and collaborative patient management.

You will mentor colleagues and help deliver remarkable care for pets and support their families. This is a fast-paced, rewarding environment within a caring veterinary health system.

Qualifications

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVCs and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
• Mentor and train other co-workers
• Care for critically ill patients and reunite them with their owners

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history

• Work with other skilled technicians and assistants to provide advanced medicine
