Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Marion, Illinois.

Unit: ICU - mixed ICU/SD unit; 18 beds with a mix of ICU and step-down care. RN with 2+ years ICU experience, current IL license (temp ok), BLS/ACLS/NIHSS required. Travel assignment is 13 weeks, 48 hours/week, 12-hour nights. On-call not required, rotation weekends/holidays every other week.

Qualifications

• IL license currently active (or temporary IL license)
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum ICU experience 2 years, 3 years preferred; 1 travel assignment required; no first-time travelers

Responsibilities

• Provide ICU nursing care in a mixed ICU/step-down unit
• Monitor and interpret Telemetry and EKGs; administer meds and sedatives as ordered
• Participate in sepsis protocols and neuro assessments; follow ICU protocols
